Victorian/Edwardian inspired cape and blouse

Made for Castlefest (a Fantasy Fair in the Netherlands) 2013. I made the white blouse based on another dress I already had, made a jabot (the frilly lace thing on my neck) by ruffling an old cotton& lace square doily and also made this pink capelet from scratch to match everything else. The cameo brooch (which you can see in large over here victorianredrose.deviantart.co…) was made a couple of years ago for other events

I'm planning on decorating the capelet/cape even more by sewing on some cord or ribbons in ornate patterns, sort of like embroidery. And I also plan to make a picture of the back of the cape, with a close up of the absolutely gooorgeous lace trim I used *drool*
